The Institute and its tasks
Consulting
One of the main tasks of MykoTroph is to provide free personal consultation. By telephone, people are advised on all health and nutritional issues related to vital mushrooms. For animal patients there are extra experienced animal healers at the institute.
Research and science
Another important task of MykoTroph is the further research of the effect and application of vital mushrooms. For this purpose, the Institute evaluates scientific studies from all over the world, collects field reports from holistic medicine and naturopathy.
Every two years a MykoTroph delegation participates in the “International Congress of Medicinal Mushrooms”. Here, the current studies and developments on the application of vital mushrooms are presented and discussed. Through the research and educational work of the Institute, mushroom medicine is gaining increasing importance in naturopathy and alternative medicine in this country.

From the wealth of experience in traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathy, the comprehensive findings from international scientific studies and the many successful treatments, reliable statements can be made about the effectiveness of vital mushrooms.
Extensive information
Another task of the institute is, of course, to communicate the knowledge gained. With the growing interest in vital mushrooms, there is also a growing interest in information about their possible applications in prevention and therapy.
MykoTroph makes the bundled knowledge available at training courses and information events, via information sheets, brochures, technical articles to all lay people interested in health as well as therapists. In addition, regular lectures are held on mycotherapy, its application and therapeutic options with medicinal mushrooms.
